The Ninderry House is set on a semi-secluded tranquil block boasting a generous 6955m2 of useable land that the owners share with lazing Kangaroos.
The idea for this unique yet practical design was many years in the making. The clients kept snippets of ideas and styles they liked to form this innovative design, with personalised final touches. The result is a beautiful family home and entertainer’s paradise.
As you first gaze upon the property each of the multiple high-pitched define their own character. The plantation look of the rendered external façade features a collection of large merbau timber posts which guard a striking entryway, and distressed sandstone which reflects different light at depending on the time of day.
Externally, the house offers 145m2 of useable and secluded entertaining space. An entertaining hub, alfresco area, parental retreat, portico, and pool deck lead on to 25 lineal metres of pool. The back elevation of the house is as intriguing and character-filled as the front, but hidden from the public.
As you make your way over the timber decking through the giant entryway door, it gives you the impression of stepping through a large window frame. Another sandstone wall oozing with character and warm ambiance greet and welcome you home.
Three distinct hubs make up the internal format of the house. Turning right from the entry, a corridor leads you in past a garage, laundry, and eventually the main bedroom. Here, another material change to one wall adds a warm timber feature in the master bedroom, which is hidden behind large bifold doors.
A large ensuite boasts a walk through double shower and a double vanity, while floor to ceiling tiles complete the look. A more than generous walk in wardrobe completes the overall vibe of luxury in this private retreat.
Venturing back down the hallway from the main bedroom a durable yet soft timber flooring cushions your feet every step of the way. The ceiling of the middle hub opens to a staggering 3.2 metres.
Here, the owner’s injection into the design and the entertaining aspect takes centre-stage. The kitchen’s surface mirrors the contemporary design featured throughout, with a butler’s pantry added as an additional touch of luxury. The beautiful stone benchtop cradles gas burners that rise boldly out of the material. Internal lights shine through the glass cupboard doors, giving the heart of the home a warm glow.
Standing at the kitchen bench, you can take in every inch of the 167m2 centre hub, including the large entertaining area which brings the outside in thanks to two large bifold door sets.
